How can you effectively score and qualify leads?
Engagement is key. Combined with sentiment you now have a way to accurately gauge a prospects "heat". Scoring activities that belie their intentions because you have set up the proper links to assess intent will make your scoring have greater value to sales. If you set up links on the pages you are sending prospects to that help "self-identify" themselves and their needs, then that the most effective way to segment and qualify prospects. It takes thought up front to determine how to strain out specific interests (i.e whitepapers, infographics, video, podcasts, webinar attendance, etc.), but once you do Sales will be much more appreciative of a well qualified lead, and with any luck reduce the time to close and increase their win %.
