The EDC is a non-profit Local Government Corporation created to support business development and serve as a public developer within the City of Dallas. The EDC is overseen by a 15-member Board of Directors who will contribute to the new organization’s success by representing a diversity of backgrounds, perspectives, geographies, and areas of expertise with the highest level of integrity and dedication to Dallas.

We are an organization of leaders from Dallas’ business, civic, and non-profit sectors who are committed to the betterment of the city. The Assembly’s primary agenda is to promote extraordinary programs that enlighten, entertain, and challenge our members while remaining, as whole, unbiased, secular, non-partisan, and progressive.

Friends of PL PREP is an independent foundation created by passionate parents and active community members to raise funds to support programs and services that enhance the learning environment at Personalized Learning Preparatory at Sam Houston.

Community Partners of Dallas is a nonprofit that provides support and services to abused children in Dallas County.

Venture Philanthropist with SVP Dallas, empowering and enhancing the work of social enterprises throughout North Texas.

Served on a variety of boards, committees, and organizations both as a student and as an alumnus. Key positions include the Executive Board of the Simmons School of Education & Human Development, Board of Trustees, Asian Alumni Association, Investment Committee of the Board, and Reunion Planning Committees.

Appointed to the HBS Club of Dallas Board of Directors for a 3-year term beginning May 2020.

Founded in 1975, Leadership Dallas is the DRC’s flagship leadership development program, aimed at providing our city with an ongoing source of diverse leaders who are prepared and committed to serve as catalysts of positive change for the quality of life in the greater Dallas area.

Civic development program for emerging and proven leaders which provides the information, connectivity, and access to empower its participants to positively create systems-level change in public schools through policy, advocacy and governance.

The Capital Improvements Committee allocates Public Improvement District (PID) funds from Uptown to make the Uptown area of Dallas, TX a better place to live, work and play.

Based in San Antonio, AVANCE is a national early childhood non-profit that helps strengthen families in at-risk communities through parent education and support programs.

Against the Grain (ATG) is a Dallas-based nonprofit that aims to inspire the next generation of Asian Americans through arts, service and leadership. Additionally, ATG raises funds to provide scholarships to U.S. high school students and support orphanages throughout Asia.

Parkland Health & Hospital System first opened its doors in 1894 and is now one of the largest public hospital systems in the country. The hospital averages more than 1.2 million patient visits annually, with services including a Level I Trauma Center, 20 community-based clinics, 12 school-based clinics and numerous outreach and education programs. Parkland is the primary teaching hospital for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

The Oak Lawn Committee was formed in 1982 to respond to the initial planning strategy developed by the Oak Lawn Forum and the Urban Plan Department of the City of Dallas. The OLC is organized to address quality of life issues for the greater Oak Lawn area, such as lessening the burdens of government, lessening of neighborhood tensions, combating community deterioration, and most recently the erection of public monuments -- specifically the Legacy of Love Monument at the Oak Lawn Triangle.

Engage Dallas Members engage with peers who share the same passion for improving our city and gain valuable experience that serves as a catalyst for becoming an engaged leader in Dallas.

The class is made up of a group of diverse leaders from the ages of 25-40 that come from eight different areas of cultural and professional influence: Arts & Entertainment, Business, Education, Government, Hospitality & Tourism, Media, Religion and the Social Sector.
