“"You're a wizard, Jarred," was a sentence uttered in halls of Lightforge (slack) hundreds of times. At Lightforge he acted as both the Lead Tech Artist and Environment Art Lead. If you've seen Project ORCS and are wondering why the game looked so good at such an early stage of development (we weren't even done!), it was because of Jarred and his team. He was the architect of our asset pipeline from proxy to final, leveraging the latest tech to help our tiny team create assets at the speed of a much larger team. I've never worked with someone so dedicated to hitting my art style and so passionate about learning and understanding the latest and greatest ways to make video games.
