“I had the distinct privilege of working with Joe Deney of Peak 10 while engaging as an account executive and program manager for Advanced Technology Group (ATG). The two of us were brought together to assist he and his organization in implementing an integrated digital commerce solution that included the deployment of a new Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) application with their existing contracting and provisioning platforms. Though it was clear that Joe had high expectations of Peak 10's vendor partners from the beginning, I believe he did everything an executive sponsor could do to set the program up for success from the very start. He set well defined program objectives with candid performance expectations, and then most importantly in my mind - he empowered a unified team made up of internal and 3rd party staff to be accountable to the program and to themselves. One always knew where they stood with Joe, and with each other; and because of his character and his leadership, no team ever wanted to disappoint him. It was a refreshing relationship of minimal guess-work, and it set a resonating tone for which to build a fantastic working partnership where great accomplishments could be made. And they were… Now with two successful program phases behind us, I sincerely thank Joe, his program staff, and the entire Peak 10 organization for the opportunity to work on such a delightful transformational initiative.
