  • "Cloudy Alliances"- EiS Technologies' Experts Break Down Oracle's Recent Alliances, Partnerships and Earnings and What it Means to Your Enterprise

Let's face it, the economy is taking its time to recover from the hard hit recession and many companies have to learn it's a marathon not a sprint back to financial security. Between Q4 earnings and partnerships and alliances with old rivals, no matter what headline you read, there's no doubt Oracle has been quite busy on the news making front this summer!

But through all the headlines-what does it all mean for your organization? While the answer to that question may still be a little cloudy we can begin to analyze what this added coalition of team players brings to the big picture.

The cloud, a catch-all term for computing software delivered via the web, seems to be the driving force behind movin' and shakin' within the market, but what does it mean from a business perspective? Can you still see the big picture through the cloud of alliances forming around Oracle?

In just an hour, EiS Technologies experts, Floyd Teter and John Faucher, will discuss:
1.The inside track on where Fusion is headed and how all these partnerships and alliances announced will impact Fusion.
2.The ever changing face of the Oracle ecosystem and what these added team players mean for your enterprise.
3.While instability maybe the immediate forecast, EiS product development has always provided a level of stability.

Join us Tuesday, July 23 at 10:30am for a chance to have your questions answered by EiS industry experts and a better understanding of how Oracle's recent moves and new team players effect your organization.

EiS Technologies has successfully delivered another major Oracle Release 12 upgrade project…this time, for its client, one of the top Organizations in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Industry, based in Atlanta, Georgia.

In late 2014, the QSR Giant made the decision to upgrade their Oracle E-Business Applications from 11i to Release 12, due to de-support issues and to gain better business efficiencies with the new Oracle Applications. To achieve their goals, executive leadership pushed for an upgrade plan that was efficient, quality, and cost-effective.

The Organization teamed up with EiS Technologies to perform the upgrade in 2015. After a brief assessment in December 2014, the combined teams were in place, and a clear path was laid out for the Upgrade. A few business optimization projects were also included in the upgrade effort within the General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Revenue, and Check printing areas. These additional work streams were incredibly important to the business users and management team. Although the additions added complexity to the upgrade, the tasks were included in the plan and delivered as part of the on-time on-budget project.
