The mission of Gorilla Youth Inc. is to focus on children who are considered: at risk, academically challenged, financially stricken, or are obese. The goal is to provide each student with a mentor, access to computers and printers, study hall 2 days a week, while participating in athletic training. One King Sports is an organization established to challenge and change the status quo of organized youth sports. One King Sports is focused on the fundamentals of sports and on the character of those participating. One King Sports’ mission is to instill biblical values, leadership skills, and teamwork principles that impact participants throughout their lives.

Developed by Dr. Maria Montessori (1870-1952), her specifically designed materials and activities are intended to systematically reveal the world to children through logic, order, inquiry, and discovery. In non-graded classes of mixed ages, children are presented with lessons using these materials. The historic Robinson Grand Theater first opened its doors in 1913 at 444 West Pike Street in downtown Clarksburg. It became a hub of cultural activity for residents of Harrison County and beyond. The Robinson Grand was the thirteenth theater in the United States to be wired for sound (1927) and in its heyday was home to movies, plays, wedding receptions and even the Miss West Virginia Pageant.

With encouragement of stakeholders, Washington Irving Middle School will foster intellectual growth and promote character, while developing 21st century skills.

Bridgeport Jerry West Basketball League’s Mission is to provide a safe, fun, wholesome combination of recreation and competition to male/female players ages 7-15 through practices, regular season games and end of season tournament play for all participants in the league. Our organization’s main purpose shall be to teach boys and girls the fundamentals of basketball.

Though the organization enlists members from throughout the region, including Bridgeport and Fairmont areas, it was named Clarksburg League for Service when it was formed back in 1934. The league's focus is to provide for the less fortunate and those who “fall through the cracks."

The Harrison County Master Gardeners are a corps of talented and highly trained volunteers who help people and communities through horticultural education. We are sponsored by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service. The Master Gardener Program implements a wide range of projects to enhance the quality of life in local communities.

Harrison County Student Achievement promotes and motivates superior student achievement in academics, community service, arts and humanities and to recognize Harrison County High School Alumni who have excelled professionally.

Many dozens of donors supported the CfSC5 deployment initiative #5 through the Cigars for Navy Seals Club. With these contributions, we numbered 64, which equates to 50 stars 13 stripes plus ‘one to grow on’! We sent out over 1500 quality sticks, humidors, hand-grenade lighters, cutters, solution and supplies to our men. On top of the 1500 cigars for our men, we included over 300+ lesser quality cigars for the sake of bartering for intel, which can be quite effective for info gathering.

Teen Challenge offers a chance to start over, become a new person and find freedom through a restored purpose and hope. Through life skills training and spiritual guidance we provide successful recovery for people with destructive, abusive, and addictive lifestyles. In addition, our faith-based residential program assists individuals to overcome self-destructive behaviors and develop positive life skills.

Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.

Health Access is a non profit free and charitable health clinic the provides access to primary medical care and prescription medications to over 1500 uninsured and underinsured residents in Harrison and Doddridge counties.

The WVU Mountaineer Athletic Club is a professional fundraising organization that works behind the scenes to support every men’s and women’s varsity team at WVU. We seek to attract, enlist and retain members, whose contributions and in-kind donations fuel the success of the entire intercollegiate athletic program. In most cases, contributions and donations to MAC are tax-deductible, and active MAC members enjoy valuable benefits based on their annual level of participation.
