Starts with consistent monitoring of all channels. The quicker the problem is identified the quicker the response. Your social media channels are a very important asset to the business and should be treated as such.

Here's how you can handle your emotions as an event planner in high-pressure situations.

It is all about planning and practice. Walk through the event at least three times. Make sure everyone understands their role and who to communicate needs too. Ask your Team to find the holes in the process during walk throughs. Trust me the will and the more they buy to the process the smoother the execution. Practice doesn’t make perfect, but it make for better problem solving.

Recognize that it will be stressful and that simple adjustment in expectation will make the difference. If you go in to any event knowing there will be stress points and ensure your staff do as well it relieves the pressure of being perfect. Ensure you and your staff know what to do when things do not go as expected. Because the will not go as expected. Simple truth.
