“The secret of Jon's success is his fantastic ability to manage his sources. Having created an authoriative blog that people in the industry respected he was able to engender a collegiate culture among his sources, many of whom wokred on the shop floor for Boeing, and so he had a direct line of communication to those that knew exactly what Boeing was doing with its 787 program. His Flightbloggger blog was a great example of what social media and journalism could do and I am sure his journalistic instincts and contacts wil pay diividends for his new employer.”
