Operated as a Commissioning and Startup Engineer for the Freeport LNG (FLNG) export facility project. Managed the loop verification process, and troubleshooting various control system functions. The control system functions included interfacing wireless temperature transmitters, and multiple Modbus control interfaces.

I provided DCS support for the third and final WFGD project at Mill Creek. This was the third commissioning assignment for me at this plant. My duties included loop verification, graphics validation and setting up networked data links for use between two separate control system networks. I also developed procedures for running reports to verify forced logic had been corrected, and forced IO points were returned to normal operating state.

I provided DCS support for the third and final WFGD project at Mill Creek. This was the third commissioning assignment for me at this plant. My duties included loop verification, graphics validation and setting up networked data links for use between two separate control system networks. I also developed procedures for running reports to verify forced logic had been corrected, and forced IO points were returned to normal operating state.

During this mobilization, I was able to troubleshoot hardware issues with the DCS system, using simple logic to capture IO point failures to recommend replacement of an IO card. This IO failure continually triggered an Emergency Quench system, so root cause and correction needed to be done very quickly. Show less

I developed a Drawing Copy Tool using MS Excel VBA to assist in an assignment to gather project drawings for close-out of a large WFGD project. This drawing tool used in conjunction with the corporate document tracking system was able to copy the current versions of drawings into a local file folder for consolidation and packaging, and created a drawing list spreadsheet for indexing the files.
