    Save a Child’s Heart is an international humanitarian organization with the mission to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries who suffer from heart disease and to create centers of competence in these countries. SACH is dedicated to the idea that every child deserves the best medical treatment available, regardless of race, religion, gender, nationality, or financial status. Children are our future. However, for many who are born in countries with no facilities or experts, a heart defect can be a death sentence. SACH has made it their mission to give them a chance to a healthy life. Doctors who volunteer their time conduct the surgeries and provide them with the care they need to return to their families and grow up to pursue their dreams. They have worked to save children’s lives for over 25 years and, on average, save a life every 24 hours.
