This experience enabled me to establish my own mining services consulting practice while continuing my education. Clients included St. Joe American, Texas Gulf Western, Phelps Dodge, Noranda, and others. Exploration work focused on gold, silver, copper, and molybdenum deposits

    Providing a wide variety of volunteer support at this wonderful continuing care retirement community (CCRC). Assisting with programming across the residential living, assisted living, and memory support units. Over the years, provided service to the Director of Life Enrichment, and the Director of Resident Services. Assisted at various events including annual Gala fundraisers, Winter Solstice, Halloween theme dinners, Valentine's Chocolate Extravaganza, and the much-loved Pie-Us Gathering.

Integrating enterprise-wide information technology with value-chain-wide operational technology, known as IT-OT integration, is essential to extracting optimal results from the value chain.
    Mining companies trail other industries with respect to IT-OT integration across the value chain. Manual data consolidation and value chain optimization using spreadsheets and human intelligence are widespread practices within the industry. Increasing automation with smart devices and controllers means the volume and velocity of data will soon increase beyond human abilities.
    Enterprise Architecture provides a method for aligning information technology with the business operating model to successfully implement IT-OT integration. A Value Realization Framework (VRF) provides a means for predictable traceable value realization from IT investments and assets.
    Attendees will learn how to accomplish IT-OT integration that provides their executives with a strategic value-chain-aligned platform for sustained value delivery over the long term.
