How can adult learners best retain training information?
In my experience measuring retained knowledge through specific and realistic goals is vital as it provides a structured framework for assessing the effectiveness of training. Clear objectives help track progress, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that the acquired knowledge aligns with the intended outcomes. The goal of all training is to elevate those receiving the information. This approach enhances accountability, motivation, and the overall success of the training program. Setting specific and realistic goals will also help the trainer/teacher measure the effectiveness of the materials delivered.

I have been apart of Katy National Little league for 3 years. I started out as a coach of a team of 12 and worked my way onto the board, taking the role of communications director. We helped grow the league after being devastated from Covid. We reached our pre-Covid numbers in 2022 with a strong social media campaign. I have been able to coach some of these young men for 3 straight years. It has been a joy to help develop these young men in baseball and life.
In 2022, I was awarded…I have been apart of Katy National Little league for 3 years. I started out as a coach of a team of 12 and worked my way onto the board, taking the role of communications director. We helped grow the league after being devastated from Covid. We reached our pre-Covid numbers in 2022 with a strong social media campaign. I have been able to coach some of these young men for 3 straight years. It has been a joy to help develop these young men in baseball and life.
In 2022, I was awarded all star coach for having the best regular season record. We then went on to form our own traveling select baseball team. -

Life group Leader - My wife and I lead a small group of 7-8 families and children at our home 1x a week. Providing dinner, fellowship, and discipleship in God’s word.
Judgment House Cast Member - A production put…I am forever grateful for God leading me and my family to this body of believers. We have grown in Christ and helped the community in countless ways.
Sunday School Teacher - led a group of 20-30 people through biblical lessons and applications in our daily life.

Judgment House Cast Member - A production put on by our church. This multiple room tour took groups of 10-15 through the life of a family and what eternity and life is offered through coming to faith in Jesus Christ.

I have coached here at Atlee for the last year. Head coach of the 10/12u majors team in the fall and spring seasons. I am dedicated to growing the players not only in baseball but life. The field I view as a ministry and I work to reflect the Lord when working with these young men. I finished the 2024 year as the head coach of our 11/12 invitational team and finished 3rd in the tournament.
