    Economic Empowerment

    I am a co-leader of a 16-person team made up of women willing to give of their time, talent, and treasure to support a very deserving first-time, female homeowner through the Habitat for Humanity's Women Build initiative. We aim to raise over $6,000 collectively and spend a full day building a home for the Epps-Brown family this spring. The Habitat program educates and empowers individuals to reach goals they often never thought possible.
