When it comes to feedback loops in B2B marketing, they are essential for both conflict resolution and continuous improvement. In a landscape where multiple stakeholders, departments, and external partners are involved, having structured feedback loops can make a significant difference. Why Feedback Loops Matter: Feedback loops create a systematic approach to gathering input from all relevant parties, ensuring that concerns are heard and addressed in a timely manner. This not only helps resolve existing conflicts but also anticipates potential issues before they escalate. Regular feedback sessions can surface misunderstandings early, allowing teams to adjust strategies or clarify expectations.

Part of this is the influencer might not be great at making content that fits the exact needs you are looking for or the format it would require is different than what they are used to. It would be great to work with them on the process from idea to delivery or provide a framework/structure that would work for you.

Embracing agility solves so many issues - make your plans, plot your actions, but you need to regularly stop and just think through how things are now, and what the next best steps are now...because this shifts soooo fast and you can't wait 3-6 months before re-evaluating. Don't get over married to your plans, because things shift fast.

Lay out all the possible tasks/projects and then prioritize. You'll also have to determine actual weekly/monthly capacity and then from there it can be honest conversations about what we can/should do this month vs next month and the month after. As long as it's clear and transparent what will be done and when and where things are in the backlog and priority is agreed on..things go so much smoother.

One of the biggest ways to expand knowelege is to test/experiment and document results/learnings. I'm CMO/Founder of a marketing agency and learned most of what I needed in the early days from Youtube and testing on my own accounts. Get your hands dirty wherever possible even if it's your own tiny startup/side-hustle and those learnings often translate to more trust than any degree.

Approach like project management in many cases. Show what's currently in progress, new initiatives along with priority, and then set/adjust realistic time frames. So many times, the client asks for 100 things and we are working on 10 of those and they get anxious/impatient about the other 90, but if you show the full backlog vs capacity and agree on priority, you can move together in a much better way.
