You're facing a challenging client interaction. How can you manage your frustration effectively?
One of the things you have to ground yourself in is that many times, when the interaction is frustrating is because you both may be approaching the situation for different levels of understanding. Allow the client to voice how they see their issue or concern, control your reaction and body language, resist the urge to defensively respond. Once you fully understand the problem through their lens, then either respond in a manner that addresses the issue from their perspective or take time to figure out a palatable solution. Not all issues will be immediately resolved but they can be delayed if you allow emotions to override the overall goal you’re trying to accomplish. When done correctly, this will help solidify the client relationship.

You're considering a career change. How do you know if it's the right move?
Understand your strengths and lean into those strengths but don’t become overly dependent on those strengths. Depending on how much of a pivot you’re making it is important to understand not only the company or career you’re moving into but also understanding the nuances of that new career. It is essential to also learn and understand that most likely, this change also means that you will have to for a lack of better words, learn to speak the language of that new company/industry. Lastly, don’t let imposter syndrome get the best of you.

You're working with a new strategic partner. How can you establish trust quickly?
Keep in mind that it is a partnership. During the initial phases, it is important to understand each party’s strategy and how the partnership is mutually beneficial for both parties. If one focuses on decisions/solutions that only align with the strategic objectives of one side, the trust in the relationship may begin to fade quickly. Start by understanding each others strategic objectives and begin to operate with those key objectives for both sides in mind as the partnership matures.

How can you set realistic deadlines for yourself?
Backward plan from the deadline date and consider key points or key subtasks that need to be completed to meet the deadline and set deadlines for important subtasks. If it is something that may require higher level approval before the final task deadline, give your supervisor or approval authority ample time to review and make recommended changes or suggestions in the case that any changes may require time to make or gather resources. If the project requires presentation, get a peer or supervisor to review the final product and also rehearse what you’re presenting with them at least two days prior to make sure everything is buttoned up before and final completion/presentation.
