How can you effectively analyze the growth potential of a niche market?
The success of pursuing a specific market (niche, vertical or up-market (enterprise) rest heavily upon the depth of your understanding of those within that market. Surface-level knowledge such as persona info (roles, titles), deal mechanics (budget, buying behaviors, etc.) are helpful but you'll waste time and resources if you fail to understand the specific circumstances facing your as yet, unknown prospect. you MUST go deeper. Think about how UI/UX research has been done, the depth that effort goes to and the deep insights it gathers. Why are you not doing that with prospects? (Note, this is not done well the sales motion...that's not the place). Go deeper, understand better and iterate faster. getempiric.com
