    I wrote my thesis on food deserts across the United States: the use of this term in the literature, a summary of efforts by academic institutions and policymakers, and how local governments and community members can work together to alleviate food insecurity.

    As part of a team of public health students, I created and implemented a university-wide proactive community testing certificate for 100+ student organizations as part of the Pillars of the Forty Acres program. I have also directed our organization's communications and our collaboration with other entities at UT.
