I always thank the other party for their "personal opinion". I ask why they have that point of view and, if needed, where they got their information from. There are many lease management systems out there. Research them looking for those areas they have built into the software that meets your needs. Be sure they have room for expansion not just the number of leases you currently are tracking. The software should also allow you to track the lease renewal dates as well as the maintenance of the property they are leasing. The software should allow you to run income reports and expense reports on each proprty also.

When providing a workshop, your participants should walk away with an action plan of what they learned and understand from the workshop. This creates added value to the participants, and you have the opportunity to have an open door for them to reconnect with you and others in the group. If they feel you are more than just the speaker at the front of the room and you are accessible to engage, they will have more of the trust you want to build.
