How can you collaborate with local communities to source sustainable fabrics?
By immersing yourself in the community, understanding the people, and assessing the health of feedstock supply and manufacturing processes are valuable steps. Building relationships with skilled staff is crucial for both current projects and long-term collaboration. Starting with small projects that highlight their strengths allows for a gradual exploration of the partnership's potential. Committing to long-term collaboration fosters trust and sustainability, recognizing the challenges small manufacturers face during initial large orders. This approach ensures a more stable and mutually beneficial partnership over time.

How do you iron linen without damaging the fibers?
One thing I have found helpful is steam. Humidity will release the wrinkles. Try hanging the garment nearby when showering. I don’t think linen should be noticeably shedding either. Good linen is based partly on the staple length, flexibility and appearance. When milled, twisted, knitted and woven the experts can also help reduce shedding.
