"Never throw good money after bad." Stafford Loans collapsed under the economic pressure when the Government was trying to stave off shutdown in 2011-ish. Loans were capped, I did not want private loans at the interest rates they were offered. I don't need a title. I got something more valuable: knowledge on the doctoral research methodologies and some serious Higher Order Thinking capabilities. -

Ever feel like you are running quickly but in the wrong direction? Two words: Turbo Pascal. Fortunately, in a soon-to-be web-enabled world, I was building websites and splicing fiber during classes on the theory of why a Working Storage Section is required in COBOL. I missed my final exam due to my supporting my customers at my internship. I would still be there had it not been for the mercy of my Calculus teacher that passed me solely because of effort.
