Next, get comfy with using proper tools and editors that support TypeScript, because trust me, you don't want to do this with some half-assed setup. Don't forget to keep your TypeScript definitions up to date, it might save you from a potential headache or two. You might also want to invest some time in learning how to write robust type definitions. I don't think I'm adding anything that hasn't already been covered more elegantly by others. So... I'll just leave it at that.
