The Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce serves the needs of Durham, NC businesses, non-profits and government agencies of all sizes. The Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce is a principal economic development agency for Durham.

The CPAC was formed in 2005 to review quarterly updates on the status of funded capital projects, in particular those associated with the 2005 bond referendum ($110 million).

The Braxton Craven Inn of Court is a local group of judges, practicing attorneys, law professors and students who meet regularly to discuss and debate issues relating to legal ethics and professionalism.
