How can you foster a culture of feedback and learning to address unconscious bias in your team?
Use of the term blind spots to decribe capacity limitations can be interpreted as ableist, so would consider striking or rephrasing simply as gaps in understanding. The work of bias self-assessment can often reinforce fixed mindsets - especially when conducted by those new to it - which can end up reinforcing the attitudes the assessment work ultimately seeks to shift. I've found a growth mindset approach that focuses on deepening self-awareness, rather than assessing bias, helps both in the invitiation as well as in the sustainability of the work long-term.
