As a well-recognized leader in the Medical Affairs community, I was invited to lead the External Medical Education Focus Area Working Group for the Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS) since Sep 2019 and was part of the MAPS Executive Program Committee.
It was a humbling experience and a unique opportunity to lead and influence a team of senior executive global subject matter experts from the industry, and collectively deliver important strategic and tactical contributions…As a well-recognized leader in the Medical Affairs community, I was invited to lead the External Medical Education Focus Area Working Group for the Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS) since Sep 2019 and was part of the MAPS Executive Program Committee.
It was a humbling experience and a unique opportunity to lead and influence a team of senior executive global subject matter experts from the industry, and collectively deliver important strategic and tactical contributions through our Focus Area Working Group.
The FAWG delivered robust strategic and tactical annual plans for 2019-2020, 2020-2021, and 2021-2022 and successfully executed on all of the planned activities, including a comprehensive External Education Standards & Guidance Document: a Best Practice for Medical Affairs Professionals (Launched on June 30, 2021), which is also being developed into e-learning modules (Q3 2021-Q1 2022).
