What do you do if your software testing lacks logical reasoning?
Pair testing has proven to be a valuable strategy for uncovering hidden logical errors and enhancing the overall quality of software. By pairing testers with diverse skill sets and backgrounds, we can bring together different viewpoints and problem-solving approaches, which often lead to more comprehensive test coverage. Moreover, pair testing facilitates knowledge sharing and skill development within the testing team. Through this collaborative practice, testers can learn from each other's experiences, exchange best practices, and refine their logical reasoning skills over time. Also having clear objectives, defining roles and responsibilities, and maintaining an open-minded approach to feedback are crucial elements for success.

What do you do if your software testing lacks logical reasoning?
Through my experience with TDD, I've witnessed firsthand its ability to uncover edge cases and corner scenarios that traditional development approaches often overlook. This preemptive validation not only ensures the functionality of the code but also enhances its robustness and resilience to unforeseen circumstances. Moreover, TDD fosters a culture of continuous improvement and iteration. The rapid feedback loop provided by writing failing tests first enables developers to iterate quickly, leading to more agile development cycles and ultimately, higher-quality software. In addition to its technical benefits, TDD also promotes collaboration and communication within development teams.

What do you do if your software testing lacks logical reasoning?
I see strengthening the testing team's skills as vital. Particularly, encouraging critical thinking exercises and formal logic training can only make them better. This can help them when it comes to common logical fallacies to avoid in test design. Also, real-world scenarios and case studies enhance practical application. Moving in this direction will equip testers with various tools and foster a culture of continuous learning, resulting in more robust test cases and improved software quality.

What do you do if your software testing lacks logical reasoning?
In my experience, I've found that the assessment phase is pivotal for scrutinizing our testing framework. Meticulously examining test cases ensures comprehensiveness and logical coherence. Identifying gaps in coverage and evaluating methodologies fortify software against errors. Adopting a holistic approach, considering test design, data management, and automation, allows pinpointing areas for enhancement. This fosters continuous improvement in testing practices, ensuring a robust ecosystem.

Solvability of Matrix Riccati Inequalities
Archived at Arxiv.org
As part of my senior capstone project during my undergraduate studies, I worked with Professor Nikita Barabanov where I considered matrix Riccati inequalities arising in the theory of absolute stability, H∞ control problem, LQ problem, and optimal estimation problem. The work presents necessary and sufficient conditions for solvability of Riccati inequality in the general sign indefinite case. I used special representations of Hamiltonian matrices and thereof, I was able to conclude with a…

The work presents necessary and sufficient conditions for solvability of Riccati inequality in the general sign indefinite case. I used special representations of Hamiltonian matrices and thereof, I was able to conclude with a theorem.
Gave a 15-minute talk on the paper. Its slides can be found here :
