“I’ve had the pleasure to work with Lauren in her role leading the Business Operations team and also as the executive sponsor to Women@ employee resource group, the largest Tripadvisor employee-led community that fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace for women. In both of these roles Lauren has been an empowering mentor. I’ve also had the opportunity to interact with Lauren in her role leading the self service cross-functional squad responsible for re-building the customer lifecycle and experience. During this time I’ve witnessed her ability to tap into the collective intelligence by bringing teams together to brainstorm, plan and execute action plans that meet ambitious strategic goals. She has both the skill and analytical and performance-driven mindset that enables her to set a clear path forward in the most complex of situations. “I hired Lauren to be the GM of our Restaurant & Content Solutions business unit of Hospitality Solutions. Lauren established herself very quickly as a key leader in Hospitality Solutions, she was able to: - Take on the challenge of learning a two new and very different business lines, as well as the integration of an acquisition that we had made. - Lead and empower cross functional teams to plan and execute a cohesive roadmap through an interlocked OKR planning process. - Mentor departments within Hospitality Solutions when we had gaps in functional leadership. - Rebuild and accelerate our GTM and Product approach of Content Solutions - enabling us to win deals with Apple, Microsoft, Duckduckgo etc - Become a champion and change management leader of our ERG program for Women@ Tripadvisor. COVID & Change Management: - This was a tough time for the Hospitality Industry and Lauren was a fantastic leader to be in the trenches with as we navigated the company through this difficult time. - Lauren was able to work cross functionally to model different scenarios of the pandemic and develop solutions around each scenario. - We then had to lead the change together as we had to let highly valued team members go, reshape our product roadmaps to what our partners needed e.g. launching contactless menus, supply financial relief to our partners and flex our GTM resources as markets opened, closed and changed the rules around the pandemic. In summary Lauren has been an excellent leader to work with who is able to inspire her team members, drive strategic problem solving and work through some really tough times with speed, determination and a high level of consideration for our team members. I hope to work with Lauren again in the future.”
