How can you effectively manage your team while maintaining a healthy work-life balance as an executive?
Effective communication greatly helps with establishing trust and visibility within your business. By ensuring team members understand why they are doing something and what the outcome should be & enabling them to decide on how it can be done creates proactiveness. This empowerment will help reduce the time managers need to be involved in such work but it is important to provide feedback and training once projects are complete.

How can you provide feedback to employees struggling to meet expectations?
Feedback is often avoided due to the fear of being put in uncomfortable positions and wanting to avoid hurt feelings. It is so important to set up regular meetings to provide feedback which can be both positive and negative. With this feedback should come training so that you are giving them the tools/lessons in order to improve and feel rewarded for positive feedback.

What are common mistakes to avoid when marketing your accounting services?
One of the most common mistakes I see is simply overthinking the content. It is more important to be consistent with content, provide value, real examples and simplify for the audience rather than overplanning which leads to a lack of content.

What are common mistakes to avoid when marketing your accounting services?
When you have too broad of a focus you will dilute the impact of your messaging. It is important to have a clear target market (niche) so you can be an expert and have a strong impact. This allows you to scale quicker as you will be able to improve processes and utilize industry specific software to become more effective.

The mission of KinderSmile Foundation (KSF) is to advocate for increase in optimal oral care access and oral care education for children in underserved communities. The goal of KSF is to help eradicate tooth decay which is the #1 silent epidemic that afflicts economically disadvantaged children. Goal supported by providing an age appropriate oral health education, access to dental home to receive preventive, on-going and comprehensive care.
The Junior Board plans and runs outreach programs…The mission of KinderSmile Foundation (KSF) is to advocate for increase in optimal oral care access and oral care education for children in underserved communities. The goal of KSF is to help eradicate tooth decay which is the #1 silent epidemic that afflicts economically disadvantaged children. Goal supported by providing an age appropriate oral health education, access to dental home to receive preventive, on-going and comprehensive care.
The Junior Board plans and runs outreach programs every year. Members from the Junior Board raise funds to supply underprivaleged children with oral supplies such as toothbrushes and toothpaste. We also provide the children with free dental screenings and cleanings by dentists that accompany us on our trips. Past trips have included Jamaica, Trinidad, Haiti, Dominican, and Haiti.
