Currently the JLPAMP's focus area for raising money is STEAM. Approximately every 5 years, JLPAMP changes their focus area. Our committee has been formed to present a new focus area to the Board of Directors and members to vote on.

I oversee the Ad Hoc Covid-19 Committee. I advise the membership and staff of JLPAMP as to current State & Local Laws as to Covid-19. Prepare policies and implement same. Goal is to safely navigate through Covid-19 for all members and staff.

Advise the President and the Board of Directors as to current local and state guidelines regarding Covid-19. Instrumental in co-drafting retail shop employee and public interaction guidelines, as well as, future League events.

Participate in working with our new investment advisors on how to best to manage our Operating Reserves and Endowment Fund.

Serve the President of the Board of Directors. Responsible for the minutes of at each monthly Board Meeting and General Membership Meetings.

Charged with promoting the Junior League of Palo Alto Mid Peninsula in regards to the philanthropic work provided to the community.

Member of the Board of Directors. Charged with overseeing of the League's hired staff and facilities.

Served 2 years as a member of Carnival Cruises Travel Professionals Advisory Committee (TPAC), offering guidance related to various trade programs, tools and initiatives introduced by Carnival Cruises.

Attend and contribute at LMV Advisory Council meetings held once a month. Assist the Director on a predetermined program day with planning, logistics, and content. Attend one or more of the following events: Opening day reception, the Annual Community Luncheon, Spring Family Parade, and/or Graduation. Recruit students for the incoming LMV Class.

Member of the Board of Directors. Oversight of the endowment fund, grants, long-standing retail shop and all fundraising/development-related activities.

Manage ongoing administration of the League's web site, with support from League staff. Responsibilities include set-up for event RSVPs and payment, online placement and the League's master calendar.

Help distribute fresh fruits and vegetables to low income in individuals and families, minimizing their food insecurity.

The Shop is a resale store that raises funds for the Junior League of Palo Alto - Mid Peninsula (JLPA-MP), an organization of women who dedicate their time to improving peoples' lives through philanthropic endeavors.

More than 13,500 female members serve 16 communities statewide. They focus on family support, foster care, education, health care, domestic abuse and more.
