By 2014, I transitioned to a Vice President position with the Club and now supervise all of the Club’s events and projects and fundraising campaigns as President.
My responsibilities in this position included managing the Club’s finances, member correspondence, event schedule, social media initiatives, club newsletters, and all club activities. When I assumed the role as President, I saw several opportunities to increase the Club’s activity, influence, and financial stability. I helped the club increase funding by over 6,400%+ within 4 months through highly-effective fundraising campaigns. I oversaw the expansion of and fundraising campaign for the Club’s Book Awards program directly supporting high school juniors who have demonstrated academic excellence and leadership. In addition, I obtained upgraded status for the Club with the College’s Alumnae Association by increasing its activity level. -
