Oooooooo....I just did a video on this ranting about the method a freelance writer employed when connecting with me, then messaging me, and then blocking me. *Queue face palm and eye roll* I get it that you gotta be you and be on brand and in your own style, but sales is more than a numbers game. It's about quality connections and content. Don't come at me like you want to make friendly conversation, but really, you've not mustered the confidence in your first contact attempt to ask me if I want to hire you.

Let's twist around this a bit. If we're going to doubt ourselves, let's flip that negative self-talk upside down. How? Asking these questions: 1. What can we learn from what we think we believe? 2. What if it weren't true? 3. What if we shift our perspective from self-doubt to data collection for intel of future endeavors? 4. What decisions are you making based on self-doubt? 5. What if you were to think of other options that you can test and experiment with without the negative beliefs? These questions help distract us from believing doubt to creating possibilities.

If this ISN'T part of your process OR you don't care enough, why bother at all? That's all I have to say about that. My shortest response ever! haha

Exploring options when you don't need a solution can be empowering. I've relied on this for decades when things weren't perfect or 100% satisfying. Seeking solutions has a visceral effect on our brain and body. It's exciting to know that something is possible, but even more so when you least expect it. Exploring options requires patience and creativity. I've found that without a solution-seeking strategy, we stay stuck and complain, with no forward-moving progress to celebrate. That gets boring for people around you who have to endure that behavior.

Marketing and sales are crucial but often underestimated. Building a brand and customer base takes years of consistent effort. 1. Prepare for potential risks with a solid business plan and risk management strategies. 2. Invest in skill development and build a strong support system. 3. Patience and perseverance are key as success takes time. 4. Stay committed and adaptable to navigate the journey effectively.

This can be fun for a business owner who is still making a mark or reinventing themselves. Your brand’s voice and tone convey identity. Your voice is the consistent personality and emotion infused into your communication, while tone adjusts based on context. Consistent voice and tone help customers connect with your brand, making your business more relatable and memorable. It's crucial to adapt your tone to the specific platforms and interactions.
