He also competed in multiple ASC Construction Management competitions in Reno and Chicago where he led his winning team.

Lorcan participated in the ASC 2017 and 2018 Electrical Competition with 5 other Cal Poly Construction Management students, serving as the Team Captain in 2018. Both problems were sponsored by Aldridge Electric and covered the electrical work involved with the Washington/Wabash CTA Transit Station and the I-74 River bridge. Our deliverables included a site specific safety plan, site logistics plan, procurement plan, phasing plan, electrical estimate, and providing several different value…

The Cal Poly SLO Electrical Team was able to take home 1st Place on both occasions further showcasing the elite education Construction Management students receive at Cal Poly SLO.
