    Upward Bound provides free services and activities on a year round basis to motivate and prepare students for success in education beyond high school. Students accepted into the program are expected to remain in the program until high school graduation and make a serious commitment to their academic education…

    On August 25th at the Oakland Impact Hub, the 100 Black Men of the Bay Area, and the Berkeley-Haas School of Business hosted a panel discussion entitled "Non-Engineering Careers at Bay Area Tech Companies". Panelists included Neal Stewart from Google, Jeunee Simon from Slack, Aisha Chiappetta from MongoDB, Rena Davis from Lyft, and Nabeela Virji from Yelp.
