This testing should also account for employee and executive cyber security awareness. Try social engineering simulations and see if they bite.. Simulate a whaling exercise. (Trying to social engineer an executive.) People who aren't consistently trained to respond to attacks are weak links. People need to be part of a pen testing exercise as breaches are most likely to occur due to an easy phone call asking for credentials or access to a file that may contain sensitive information .
