“Mark is a terrific clinical scientist and research manager. He joined us in the liver disease therapeutic area at Gilead, already having great HIV experience (Mark provided HIV care services, physician education and clinical research in academia, then working for years at GSK with an emphasis on HIV PK studies). Here at Gilead, he has been doing great work with our HCV program, in protocol design and execution, and data analyses and presentation. He is a very effective communicator. He creates clear and concise data summaries (clinical trials, background, etc), and manages KOL investigators in their review and presentation at international meetings superbly. Mark is very well liked by our entire internal and external team...both in clinical research & operations at Gilead, and by our CRO colleagues in protocol execution. He is highly reliable, and extremely personable. It is a great pleasure to work with him!”
