“Matt rocks. Hire him. He's an excellent product designer; the best I've worked with. He can zoom out to a high-level and look holistically at product & company strategy, then zoom back in to solving detailed UX or interaction problems on web & mobile with no sweat. At Atlassian he single-handedly designed Stash (now Bitbucket Server), and was one of the creators of the Atlassian Design Guidelines. He has a very systemic approach to design. He thinks in abstractions, in modular terms. His understanding of development and the development process is instrumental in his ability to communicate well with developers. These are excellent traits for a designer and it's something that most designers do not possess. Matt's personality is no bullshit. He will tell it like it is. Matt doesn't spout UX nonsense. He believes in action over words. With Matt you will get a capable, experienced product designer who has a broad set of skills. He makes a huge impact at any company he works at, and you would be lucky to have him.”

Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for managing tasks in a content management system. For example, the content management system can collect, aggregate, and/or store task data assigned to a user from across projects and/or content items. The user can select to view tasks for a particular project and/or from across all projects. The content management system can generate a single graphical user interface for presenting the task data associated with the user. The content management system can generate a graphical user interface the allows the user to move tasks from one task status graphical element (e.g., task status container) to another task status graphical element to change the status of a task associated with the user. Thus, the user can quickly and easily view the tasks assigned to the user and update the status of tasks in an easy to use graphical user interface.
