    We have been developing a new way to place the bones on the plate and initial Finite Element testing shows that we can achieve up ro 30% more torsional stability for the construct in osteoporotic bone.

    Distal radius osteotomies performed by using a 3d printed guide were compared dimensionally to procedures performed in a more traditional freehand approach. Increased accuracy and repeatability were found in the printed guides

    Colombian Asociation of Orthopedic Surgeons Meeting

    The anatomical fit of a new Distal Radius plate in development by Sampedro was tested in cadaveric models. The distance from the plate to the bone was measured in a series of points and a new design for the plate was generated from the data.
