New Leaders Council (NLC) works to train and promote the progressive political entrepreneurs of tomorrow — trendsetters, elected officials and civically-engaged leaders in business and industry who will shape the future landscape. Over the next 2.5 years, we are developing standards for 88 industries in 10 sectors suitable for use in providing decision-useful information in the SEC Forms 10-K and 20-F. Over the next 2.5 years, we are developing standards for 88 industries in 10 sectors suitable for use in providing decision-useful information in the SEC Forms 10-K and 20-F. SASB is accomplishing this through intensive evidence-based research of material issues within industry; convening Industry Working Groups to establish key performance indicators; partnering with the accounting profession to develop auditing protocols; and providing education with regard to recognition and accounting of material non-financial issues.
