The Oahu Workforce Development Board (OWDB) was established by the Federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and is administratively attached to the Department of Community Services. OWDB is one of four local WIOA boards in Hawaii.

WIOA provides new opportunities for business representatives to work together with government and education to solve some of the problems of workforce preparation in America today.
