An "integrated perspective" that merges the views of management and engineering communities is increasingly recognized as one of the cornerstones of a successful approach to enterprise complexity and is a key aspect of the AESE program.

  • Activities and Societies: Taught software application classes through the Dr. Micro program for external professionals.

    While taking courses in systems analysis and statistics, I was fortunate enough to work with a professor who was developing a book on quality control and productivity techniques. Based on the knowledge I gained while working with Dr. Gitlow, I was awarded a research grant which allowed me to travel around the world to compare and contrast productivity techniques used in other countries. I simultaneously began learning software application development; through teaching seminars and consulting, I acquired enough clients to launch my own company upon my graduation.

    Adults who suffered physical injuries or illnesses who were being retrained to work in the software industry needed mentors to help introduce them to the business environment and coach them in resume development and interviewing skills.

    Animal Welfare

    Established a group within Qualcomm to help promote animal rescue fundraiser events. Was particularly involved with the Hearts and Hands Equine Rescue.
