My role is to help patrons by answering questions—from directing them to stages, to finding the food courts, to finding the nearest ATM. I am the face of the festival and must be friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. Duties also include promoting the Love Hope Strength Foundation and their mission to save lives through bone marrow donation.

Info booths include lost and found; I had to keep lost items organized and help identify and return items to their owners who visit the booth looking… Show more

As an Attendance Volunteer Associate, Responsible for tracking all theatre attendance throughout the festival. This position receives all attendance, via email and the Attendance database, from all theatres each day of the festival. The Attendance Associate also works with accounting to adjust pass attendance within the ticketing system when necessary when directed by the Volunteer Coordinator, Attendance. Show less

Volunteering as a Music Festival Panels Crew Member at the the 2016 SXSW Music Festival!

Responsibilities included checking in guests at the Austin Convention Center for Panels, Talks and Screenings, crowd control and line management.

Responsibilities include greeting and interacting with Chicago Comic Convention attendees. Also guest services and answering questions, line management for panels, screenings and Autograph lines. We also were in charge of distribution of guest gift bags.
