  • Georgia Tech University Carbon Neutral Energy Solutions Laboratory

    Gilbane, teamed with HDR, provided Design/Build services for this 45,000 SF facility. Located at the North Avenue Research Area (NARA) of the Georgia Tech campus, the facility houses several energy research efforts. By effectively using several energy-saving designs—including a full photovoltaic array—the facility harvests energy on-site and achieve carbon neutrality without purchasing carbon offset credits. The project achieved a LEED Platinum v3 Certification, exceeding the Gold certification…
