    Along with 11 extraordinary Medical Students from Marian University Osteopathic Medical School, a fellow physician, Physicians Assistant and an esteemed faculty member provided medical services to the citizens of the mountains of Honduras. We saw almost 400 patients and provided humanitarian services to several other entities while there. This opportunity provided me a chance to revitalize my passion for provision of medical care at it's most basic, fundamental and untainted level. I have…

    Along with 11 extraordinary Medical Students from Marian University Osteopathic Medical School, a fellow physician, Physicians Assistant and an esteemed faculty member provided medical services to the citizens of the mountains of Honduras. We saw almost 400 patients and provided humanitarian services to several other entities while there. This opportunity provided me a chance to revitalize my passion for provision of medical care at it's most basic, fundamental and untainted level. I have dedicated myself to continuing this trip every year at minimum. The opportunity to work with young doctors in training is something that I know will benefit not just them but myself as well in innumerable ways.

    For the second time, I was privileged to lead a team of 14 gregarious, intelligent medical students accompanied by a extraordinary Phd and his wife to provide medical care for a week in the mountains of Honduras . The experience continues to remind me why I chose to do what I do. I have committed to doing this every year as long as my services are needed.
