How can you help a mentee ace their job interview?
Mindset is key. Each of us has an internal Judge and recognizing how it influences every day us is key. The imposter syndrome is another mindset to guard against. To help with both of these, simply notice the thoughts but don't dwell on them. Instead shift over to visualizing yourself in the job interview. See yourself as confident, poised and peaceful. Responding to the questions and sharing your success stories with clarity. Visualize how the Judge will try to interfere with the interview and visualize yourself capturing the thought, calling the Judge a liar.
