Give Here for Kids Here Telethon
Give Here for Kids Here is an initiative to raise money for Levine Children's Hospital, the local Children's Miracle Network (CMN) hospital. Our team at WCNC coordinated with the Carolina's Healthcare Foundation and CMN to produce a new, cutting-edge version of the classic telethon, with the help of the presenting sponsor, Morris Jenkins.
On August 14, 2015, WCNC aired the Give Here for Kids Here Telethon during live cut-ins, from the hospital, throughout the day. On August 14, 2015, WCNC aired the Give Here for Kids Here Telethon during live cut-ins, from the hospital, throughout the day. We also instituted a social media element and constant updating during select programming. The telethon was accompanied by a three month marketing campaign to raise awareness and drive donations. Over $100,000 was raised for this amazing cause.
