Led by local, interdisciplinary, internal and external teams from areas such as architecture, art, design, science, government, technology and sustainability, each city stop in the Creator Space tour will explore a locally relevant topic. Topics ranged from sustainable consumption, to housing of the future, to intelligent solutions along the energy value chain.

Winners were selected from 15 nominees of PCA member company personnel for outstanding efforts in advancing cement and concrete products.

  • Promoter of the Year

    Northeast Cement Shippers Association

    Recognition for four years of work that resulted New York City's first use of insulating concrete forms (ICFs) for a multifamily dwelling, a nine-unit apartment complex providing housing for low-income families in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. The project marks a first for the city, as well as the first-ever use of ICF construction for any Habitat for Humanity NYC project.
