Leadership Buffalo Class of 2019 Class Experience Co-Chairperson

Advisor- Youth Leadership (YL) is a ten-month leadership enrichment program for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors representing schools throughout our community. The curriculum builds a foundation of leadership skills, an awareness of community issues, an appreciation for diversity and a commitment to lifelong community service.

CARES is a not-for-profit agency founded in 1990. CARES’ mission is to work in partnership with persons living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) and other disabilities in order to identify and address the needs of and improve the quality of life for those who are the most vulnerable in our communities. CARES achieves this by helping communities assess the unmet needs of their exposed populations and aids the communities in creating and coordinating the resources necessary to address those needs

The Tech Valley Nonprofit Business Council provides educational programs throughout the year for nonprofit executives and staff. The council gives members insight into the latest trends and issues facing nonprofit organizations, while serving as a forum for nonprofits and for-profits to connect and collaborate to address common issues and opportunities.

Leadership Tech Valley is an interactive program that provides skills development and community immersion experiences that enable participants to grow personally and professionally as they explore issues and opportunities in the Capital Region through a series of nine thought-provoking session days. Leadership Tech Valley develops the leadership potential of participants and builds a solid foundation of informed, action-oriented and productive employees and citizens.
