One thing I find helpful is to make sure that as a leader you don’t walk away from the team. Get to know what the opportunities are for growth, maybe they need some help on deciding how is the moderator to keep the meetings moving. Maybe they need to learn how to actively listen. There are many ways for a leader to ensure that the team is engaged, empowered and successful. But it starts and ends with you. Be with them and pull someone to the side for a few tips and let them run with it.

Never get lazy with IT security. Ensure your team and those that have access are trained regularly on safeguarding data. These reminders will leave a lasting message on your team
