TEDxSonomaCounty brings together our community in an annual event. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, we will showcase inspiring speakers, artists and performers around a theme. TEDxSonomaCounty is organized by a group of individuals who are inspired by TED and want to bring the experience to Sonoma County.

TEDxSonomaCounty is an annual event where some of the world’s leading thinkers and doers are invited to share what they are most passionate about. Under David Fischer's Leadership (Gay Sheldon coordinating), the School's and Family programing department established the Children's Arts Education Council (CAEC) and worked to raise funds as well as the integration of the arts into recognized curriculum for schools to continue to attend daytime shows. We expanded the "show experience" to include before and after event academic connections; we researched, reached-out, implemented and refined our mission to keep live-arts alive in all the… Show more

Founded the K-art program at Austin Creek weekly art exploration in addition to weekly volunteering in the district for the Art Docent program. Created an art resource center and used SF Moma's, De Young and Legion of Honor kid art exploration as a model for kid-inspiration

SAC Women in Business (WinB) purpose is Making Intentional Connections and bringing professional acumen elevation to Sonoma County through a speaker series.
