You're an expert in your field. How can you leverage your skills to become a consultant?
Your niche is your “zone of genius.” What are you best at? What do people come to for advice for? If you are new to consulting, create an “intro offer” with the caveat prices will increase after the first round of consulting. Have a strategy of how to get to where you want to be. Crawl, walk run. In other words, test, repeat and tweak, hit the turbo and accelerate.

What are the best practices for conducting market research on benefits?
The benefit package is very telling about the values or an employer and/or organization. A firm that does not value their workforce is likely to offer low value benefits with significant employee cost shares. Even if a comprehensive medical plan is not important to you, the lack of you may be an indicator of how they treat other employee needs. The truism “the way you do anything is the way you do everything” applies here.

The designation program analyzes group benefits concerning the ACA environment, contract provisions, marketing, underwriting, rate making, plan design, cost containment, and alternative funding methods.
The most significant portion of this program is devoted to group medical expense plans that are a primary concern to employers and employees.
This designation has since been replaced with REBC. -

I have maintained my certification since shortly after it became available in 2004. This ongoing education is CMS compliant and updated annually for accuracy and relevance.
