“Neill was the single threaded leader behind scaling Klaviyo's authentication and pricing systems, a gargantuan accomplishment considering as those system were being built the company onboarded hundreds of new employees and thousands of customers. More so than anyone at Klaviyo, Neill understands our customer base and with high conviction proposes tradeoffs that optimize for both the needs of the business and customer. I do not think it is hyperbole to say that without Neill it would've taken Klaviyo an additional year+ to implement two factor auth, SSO, subscription pricing for SMS, OAuth and the ramp of our New Verticals Unit. His leadership and direct technical and product contributions on all of these initiatives remain absolutely critical foundations for the company today and represent a substantial portion of the company's intrinsic value. Open any key piece of code or product document at Klaviyo - Neill's fingerprints are likely all over it. I would jump at the chance to work for him today and of all folks I worked with at Klaviyo believe he is the most likely to build an enduring company that like Klaviyo comes to define Boston tech.”
